March is Child Life Month!

Happy Child Life Month!

The Child Life Department at UNM Children’s Hospital is challenging other Child Life Departments across the nation to a song/dance competition to celebrate Child Life Month! They hope to raise awareness of Child Life and help share more about the important work that they do for our patients! Throughout the month of March, Child Life will be hosting special events for UNM Children’s Hospital staff and patients. Ana Bacon, the manager of Child Life said,  “Child Life Month is so important because it helps to acknowledge the good work that Child Life does to provide for the pediatric patients and families, but also helps to celebrate the collaboration of the multi-disciplinary teams within the hospital.”
